our tequila
A wonderful tradition from the Jalisco region
Mexico is a country with a diverse geography and rich culture. Jalisco, located in western Mexico through numerous valleys and hills, is a very special region. The agave of Jalisco has been loved so much over the past centuries that the distilled spirit made from blue agave here can be said to have shaped the local culture and traditions. Tequila is our precious heritage, and we spread it all over the world. I want to share it with everyone.

long time waiting
Our agave is grown in the Los Altos de Jalisco region (Jalisco's highlands). This region's red volcanic soil, high altitude, rich minerals, and cool climate conditions make it an ideal place for growing agave. Agave requires a long wait to become tequila. The harvested agave is called piña, the core remaining in the center. All but the leaves are cut off and then slowly roasted in a brick oven. Afterwards, it is squeezed with a compressor to extract the sugar produced during the heating process. To give the squeezed juice a unique character that sets Clase Azul Mexico apart from other brands, patented yeast is added and fermented. After fermentation, the fermented liquid undergoes double distillation in a copper still and finally becomes tequila. Making great tequila takes dedication.

The aesthetics of waiting
Clase Azul Tequila Plata is an unaged, transparent tequila that fully captures the aroma of agave. This is already a great tequila, but our tequila-making process doesn't end there. To create tequilas with more complex flavors, we need to wait. Unaged tequila is aged in casks made of oak or other types of wood for months to years, and we study and evaluate its changes. Our well-known Clase Azul Tequila Reposado ( From Clase Azul Tequila Reposado to our extra-aged tequila, Clase Azul Tequila Ultra, we firmly believe that only time adds richness and character to each drop of tequila, and today we continue to embody the aesthetic of waiting. I'm enjoying it.

legacy of ancestors
A total of nine regions in Mexico still cherish mezcal, a heritage and treasure passed down by their ancestors. Unlike tequila, which is made by distilling only blue agave, mezcal is made from various agave species. Therefore, the taste of each mezcal varies greatly depending on the different soil and environmental conditions where agave is grown.
